Initial Skin Consultation with Dermal Therapist

At your first visit you will be asked a series of questions that give the consultant an overall feeling for your skin; you will have a basic skin anatomy lesson, and your skin will be cleansed and examined under a woods lamp. This is an ultraviolet lamp showing levels of hydration, types and amount of oil and pigment and therefore the overall health of your dermis (skin).

We often begin your new skin regime with a mini-facial treatment. This can usually be accommodated during this visit and you’ll leave with your skin glowing. It will be tailor-made on the day for you depending on your skin condition and your concerns. Antioxidants and a protective SPF moisturiser will also be applied.

You will then sit down and a personalised treatment plan and home skincare routine will be discussed with you.

There are additional costs for your at-home products and any extra treatments you have on the day. View less

Our Medifacials are tailor-made following individual examination. Available for those who haven't started a skin care program as yet, and for those who have. Especially good for dehydrated, dry and sensitive skins. Great as a present.

All other facial treatments are available for those on home skin care programs and are focused on giving deeper exfoliation and nourishment to the skin in order to decrease inflammation and increase healing. It is ideal to have 3–6 treatments, 3–4 weeks apart; however, your skin consultant will plan this series with you.

There is minimal downtime after these treatments, as the strongest are not given until staff see that your skin is well prepared for them.
